$100,000 in investment proceeds less $6,715 in closing costs. In exchange the capital provider receives a contractual right to 20.00% of your home’s value at settlement. Up to $200,000 is available, limited by your current mortgage balance — the capital provider's share plus your mortgage cannot exceed the combined loan-to-value limit.

This is an estimate for illustration only and is not an offer or a commitment to advance funds. It is based on the figures you entered and does not assess credit, property type, title, or any other eligibility requirement. Actual terms depend on a full application, a property appraisal, title review, and final underwriting. A Final Settlement Amount is due at the end of the Investment Period or upon sale or refinance. In a falling market the capital provider’s share falls with your home’s value, so the settlement is lower.

A Home Equity Agreement is a purchase of a partial interest in the future value of your property. You will not make monthly payments. The capital provider's return is determined by a Settlement Multiplier applied to your home's value at settlement — unlike a loan, no interest accrues and there is no fixed repayment obligation. Settlement is required by end of Investment Period. Your settlement amount may be more or less than the investment proceeds you received; in a high-appreciation scenario, the effective cost may substantially exceed a comparable home equity loan or line of credit. A security interest will be recorded against your property, which may affect your ability to refinance. Barastone is not a mortgage lender except as required by applicable state law. State-specific requirements apply in Maryland, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Washington, Georgia, and may apply in California. Texas: this Agreement is a Property Rights Purchase, not a Section 50(a)(6) home equity loan. Consult independent legal, financial, and tax advisors.
